Italian well-known actor and director, Franco Nero who has been attending the 36th edition of Fajr international film festival said Iran has significantly good directors and casting who can benefit the country's cinema to great extent.
Numerous famous figures of the world cinema have been invited to attend the Fajr festival, which will take place in Tehran from April 19 to 27.
Franco added there are many well-known directors in the country like Asghar Farhadi, Kiarostami and Majid Majidi who have made great effects on Iran's cinema and their following directors.
He referred to those interested in acting and cinema and said, when there is love and determination there is success. Franco added classes would not be enough for acting professionally, noting that experiencing everything in real world is the key to success in cinema and acting.
"There is no ending in acting and that an actor can play and act strongly until he lives," he stated.
"I am supposed to be a music conductor in my upcoming film so in order to act it the way the audience could identify with I talk and see famous conductors," Italian well-built actor stated.
He continued, " They should not get disappointed and do not think jut about money in the beginning."
On the press conference held on the sideline of the 36th edition of Fajr International Festival, Franco Nero said his country has had numerous co-productions with many countries mostly with Spain and France, adding he himself has directed several movies abroad.
Referring to the differences between cinema and TV, he said the audience choosing to go to cinema watch movies carefully because they choose their films on free will and pay for it.
Franco concluded a film would succeed when its audience could identify with it.
Nero, 77, has appeared in over 200 films during his career that spans 56 years.
He also played a cameo role in “Django Unchained”, a 2012 American revisionist Western film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino.
He has played a role in “The Broken Key”, director/writer Louis Nero’s upcoming independent film.
