Filmfestivals.com Leopoldo Soto met with Spanish filmmaker Anna Bofarull in Montreal. She took a humanities degree from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona before studying film at CECC and and Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris. In the concert hall the audience are taking their seats. Julia, a renowned cellist, has locked herself in the ladies’ room. She’s in pain and shaking uncontrollably. She swallows one pill after another. She knew this was coming ever since the doctors diagnosed fibromyalgia. Despite the sporadic pain, she had enjoyed life, socialising with friends and lovers and above all playing music. But she accepted this engagement, a very important concert, and now she is committed to going through with it...
