As Erin and Paul fall first into, and then out of, their breakneck romance, we follow them through wild gallery parties, MDMA trips under the mists of Niagara Falls, chaotic night markets, and on a journey into the heart of both contemporary America and Asia. This international, dizzying vision is part of what first appealed to me about the novel and I hope we've done it justice on film."
